About
Hotel Cyrus - Vienna
Hotel Cyrus sits on Laxenburger Strasse, a busy street in Vienna's 10th district, about a 10-minute metro ride from the historic center. The 35-room, two-star property keeps things simple: clean rooms, a lift, and a breakfast spread that guests repeatedly praise. Keplerplatz metro station is literally around the corner, and a shopping street with trams is just as close.
The hotel's location is its biggest draw. Guests consistently mention the convenience of the underground station, free street parking nearby, and the walkability to the city center (around 25 to 30 minutes on foot). Inside, rooms get credit for being spacious by European standards, with some facing a quiet inner courtyard. A 24-hour reception and daily maid service round out the package.

Worth weighing
4 to weigh- Basic facilities — As a two-star property, don't expect extras like a fitness center or in-room coffee. The hotel keeps it simple.
- Not in the historic center — You'll be a 25-minute walk or a short metro ride from the main sights, not stepping out right into the old town.
- Street-facing rooms may have noise — The hotel is on a busy street with a shopping area nearby; some rooms face an inner yard for quiet, but not all.
- No pets allowed — The hotel's policy states pets are not permitted, which limits options for those traveling with animals.
